Skillet BBQ Chicken Nachos
I have been making this dish for years and every time I do, I'm amazed by how good it is. Eating healthy doesn't have to be boring - in fact, it can be the opposite! Enter: BBQ Chicken Nachos.

- 4 Bacon Strips, Sliced
- 2 Chicken Breasts, diced
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tbsp Salt
- ½ tbsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 11 oz Tortilla Chips
- 8 oz Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup Red Onion, sliced
- Sour Cream (optional)
- Avocado (optional)
- Cilantro (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook bacon in skillet over medium high heat until browned and crispy. Remove from pan using a slotted spoon or tongs.
4 Bacon Strips, Sliced
Add chicken to bacon grease in skillet, followed by the seasonings. Cook chicken, stirring to prevent sticking.
2 Chicken Breasts, diced, 1 tbsp Chili Powder, 1 tbsp Garlic Powder, ½ tbsp Salt, ½ tbsp Black Pepper
Once chicken is cooked, stir in BBQ sauce. Let sauce cook 3-5 minutes and reduce slightly. Remove chicken from skillet.
1 cup BBQ Sauce
Remove skillet from heat and pour in chips. Top chips with chicken, bacon, red onion, and cheese. Carefully place skillet in preheated oven.
8 oz Cheddar Cheese, shredded, ¼ cup Red Onion, sliced, 11 oz Tortilla Chips
Bake 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven. Serve warm topped with sour cream, avocado, and/or cilantro.
