Homemade Dish Soap

Looking to make dish soap without all of the toxins? This 4 ingredient dish soap is so easy, you'll never go back to your old brand. Read the tip on infusing the vinegar with lemon, it takes it to the next level!

Yield: 1.5 cups

Equipment

  • 1 Squirt bottle

Materials

  • 3 tbsp Hot water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • cup White Distilled Vinegar*
  • 1 cup Sal Suds

Instructions

  • Add the hot water and salt to a squirt bottle. Swirl the bottle to dissolve the salt.
  • Next add the vinegar (infused with lemon is preferred*) and Sal Suds. Place the bottle cap on and shake vigorously to mix the soap.
  • Congrats! You're done. Use this all natural soap without the toxins on all those dishes that were at one time holding your family's lovely home-cooked meals.

Notes

*I always have a jar of white distilled vinegar under my sink with lemon peels soaking in it. This infuses the vinegar with a lemon scent and also with the natural cleaning properties of lemon. It's a great way to use everything in your kitchen, too!
